Tutor Comment

I was accepted for the student employment at LAU Beirut, and worked as a tutor for the following courses; Organic Chemistry (Fall 2020 till present), Essentials of Chemistry (Academic year 2020/2021) and Chemical Principles (Fall 2021). I am a member of LOYAC NGO that deals with social work and works towards the overall development of children and youth. I also had the chance to volunteer at MMKN NGO, and took a part in the academic support program (Academic year 2020/2021). I am a member of the Pre-med club at LAU Beirut, where I was the former and first vice-president for the “Data Analytics Club” launched by a group of LAU students. It is worth mentioning that I have attended several workshops; “Risky Behavior Prevention” (Summer 2019) organized by youth sector of Red Cross, “Diving into Cancer” webinar (April 21, 2021) organized by LAU in collaboration with CancerCom and iCademy, and “Artificial Intelligence in Health Care” online conference (June 21, 2021) organized by LAU school of medicine. Finally, I had the chance to shadow Dr. Jamal Al-Ferekh; General Surgeon/ General Practitioner at Al-Rayyan Healthcare Center during August 2021. Going back in time to school, I was the captain of the basketball team at Amjad High school, and had the chance to participate in the competition of “Geographic Information System” in 2017. As for leisure, I fill my free time with number of activities, among which is extracurricular activities, practicing physical activity as going to the gym and playing sport games. Socializing is also fairly important to me and especially with my family when we all need a break.
